This Educational-Review is on BrainPOP the leading producer of animated educational movies for grades 3-12. With more than 1 million new viewers each month, they offer curriculum-based content in the areas of Science, Math, English, Social Studies, Health, Arts & Music, and Technology. Millions of kids regularly watch their movies and interact with a cast of characters who lead them through related activities on the web site. My children and grand's, and students have used it for years. I recommend this service with all my online courses too. Just some of these are: homework help, interactive quizzes, comic strips, and experiments. The company BrainPOP was founded in 1999, and has won numerous education and media awards.
Just a few of their partners are: McGraw-Hill, National Geographic, Yahoo!, and AOL. In 2006, the company launched BrainPOP Junior which is targeted to children in grades K-3. Both versions are core curriculum topics in a fun and easily digestible manner, while correlating with national standards and testing mandates.
